STAT Revenue’s primary goal is to promote healthy communities by helping hospitals improve their financial well-being. STAT, along with all its employees, firmly believes in the importance of giving back to the community through service and financial support. We aim to help ensure our local community and the communities of our clients can be healthy and active. Below are a few of the organizations that we have volunteered with to work towards this goal:
Swim Across America (SF)
On a chilly San Francisco morning, STAT Revenue volunteered at the local Swim Across America fundraiser. This great organization raises money for cancer research, prevention and treament. STAT enjoyed supporting the swimmers through helping with registration, post-swim check-in, handing out towels and cheering them on!
Alameda County Food Bank (ACCFB)
Members of the STAT team spent a weekday morning at the Alameda County Food Bank. STAT helped pack cauliflower and bell peppers into bags for distribution to hungry families across the county. STAT also learned about the valuable services the Food Bank provides and the surprisingly high demand for food in our community.
Bay Area Outdoor & Recreation Program (BORP)
For the last four years STAT has helped raise money for a local organization dedicated to providing adaptive opportunities for the Bay Area disabled community. STAT Revenue annually enters a team in the "Roll N Shoot" benefit 3 on 3 wheelchair basketball tournament. We've taken the top fundraising title the last three years (and most recently finished 2nd on the court).
Habitat for Humanity
STAT traded in their calculators and reading glasses for hard hats and hammers to assist in the reconstruction of a local home. Habitat is a world renowned organization and STAT was happy to lend a helping hand. We completed small tasks such as cleaning up the yard to big task such as learning how to build a wall!
Claremont Middle School
During the 2009 school year, members of the STAT team volunteered at an after school program at a local middle school. Each week, members of STAT visited Claremont Middle School and tutored a group of 6th grade students. We also participated in many of the after-school activities with the students such as basketball and foursquare.
